Our first stay at The Good House was a 10 out of 10! We live locally and when we need an "unwind", we choose a local boutique hotel/spa. While we have two local favorites, we elected to try TGH for this trip. It is now tied for #1 for our Desert Hot Springs spots! The room was SPOTLESS, tastefully decorated and well appointed. The grounds are well kept, lots of comfy spaces to curl up with your book (or take a nap!) and there are gorgeouse, mature TREES that keep the direct desert heat off of you. The food? Oh my goodness, Chef Van is up there with any of the best in the Valley AND he treats you like royalty! We will back and I just want to say Well Done The Good House Team! Bethany and Pat 7-2026
Spent the weekend here for my partner’s bday. What a gem!! The rooms are clean and cuter than the photos. I didn’t realize both pools were warm until we got there, but it was so pleasantly surprising. Van is such a sweetie. You can tell he cooks with so much love and care. The BBQ chicken was out of this world. We cannot wait to come back! Only thing I didn’t realize is that kitchen hours do not extend to dinner, time so plan accordingly and bring bug spray for the evening :)
The staff are so impressive. They are great. Everyone. Van ensured our stay was incredible and made a surprise Valentine Day breakfast that was outstanding. The "van"cakes were ufff, so yummy. The grounds of this "motel" are amazing. The vegetation makes it so calm. Highly recommended. I already miss that pool.
The best vacation spot we’ve stayed in ages. We’ll definitely be back. And special shout out to Van - I thought they might have been the owner, considering how dedicated they were to their role and the guests’ experience. A great team, a great place, and well worth the trip.
Dec 20-22 2025 Nice, Quite Relaxing atmosphere. We were celebrating friend's 49th birthday. My first time to The Good House originally called The Hacienda. They offer Lite breakfast/lunch/dinner menu. They do serve cocktails too. Pool is natural warm spring so lovely. Our accommodation was perfect room #7 little kitchenette, patio. Will definitely be back ** No-Kidos allowed **
